Amelia Lironi – Singing Lessons

Amelia Lironi – singing lessons

Amelia Lironi is starting vocal lessons from WEDS 6th SEPT in Strathaven for young people aged 6-12. Lessons will take place in the Frets Creative building in the heart of Strathaven and will be designed individually for each pupil to cover their favourite vocal styles and help them develop their singing technique and confidence.

Amelia is an experienced vocalist and Honours music student at University of Highlands and Islands. She was special guest for Tom Jones at his concert in Glasgow in 2016, singing to a sold out audience while only 16 years old. Amelia has also recorded several live sessions for BBC 6Music and Radio Scotland performing backing vocals with several artists. She is an artist in her own right recording as part of Quad 90, who recently were awarded Single of the Week on BBC 6Music for their debut single.

Between the ages of 14-16 Amelia was an onstage and rehearsals Support Assistant for Ups and Downs, a Lanarkshire based theatre group for young people and adults with Down syndrome (and their siblings). Amelia was a sibling helper, and as the oldest of 5 children she has a great deal of experience with young children.

Singing promotes positive mental health and self confidence/well being. Amelia’s singing lessons will make learning fun – she is a young person whose love of music shines through her.
