FRETS CREATIVE NEWS

Like many other businesses we are in lockdown and currently not operating from our premises at 2 Barn Street Mews in Strathaven. However that has not stopped us developing plans for once we are all out of the current coronavirus emergency.

We are very excited about plans to work closely with Creative Strathaven. Mhairi Anderson and the rest of the Creative Strathaven team are currently working to set up a retail space for local artists and photographers. This will take up two rooms within our unit and Creative Strathaven is also planning a set of workshops on a variety of exciting subjects.

Music lessons will continue once we are all back in action with Douglas MacIntyre continuing with guitar lessons.

Les Hoggan and Mhairi Anderson are planning to hold photography workshops, with interactive sessions in the unit followed by practical outdoor sessions around Strathaven.

The Barn Street Mews unit will also be hosting Open House, run by Euan and Gill Fraser. This will give an opportunity for people to meet and talk in a safe environment.
