MARS BONDING #2
The bonding happened in utero
Space dust from opposing planets
Colliding in the womb.
With first gasps of life
Mutating into
Contrary flesh and blood
Ying and yang
Bundles of
Exquisitely packaged chaos.
Themselves.
Dark and light
Play and fight
One sleeps day and night,
One screams, born uptight.
Mars and Venus,
Upside down and
All over the place
Taking the pace of
Interplanetary
Most extraordinary
Happenings,
To new, unexplored
Speeds and dimensions.
In the future
One will have
Each minute timetabled
All through the day
Nothing and no-one
Stands in her way.
This other will wander
Saunter, amble.
Convoluted concentration.
Each seeking an
Individual, unique
Destination.
